Study Permits

Canada is a leading destination for international students, and you could be one of them too!

Study permits in Canada have specific requirements, some listed here. You must:

  • Be planning to study for more than 6 months

  • Have a Letter of Acceptance from your Designated Learning Institute (DLI) - check your school here

  • Be able to show proof of funds, including for your tuition and living expenses

  • Obtain a Provincial or Territorial Attestation Letter (PAL/TAL), unless applying as a Masters or PhD student
